Ghetto Golf and Whistle Punk Axe Throwing are just some of the mates dates, work dates and lol, Hinge dates (if you don’t know, get to know), us Brummies are enjoying at the moment, to mix up the fab food and drink on offer in this city.
That is, until social darts venue, Flight Club opened its doors a few weeks ago and what an addition to the city! Flight Club is darts in the digital age because who cba to work out actual scores in their head, without relying on tech? Not me, tech is 100% required. Millennial you may say, and you would be right. No cares given.
When it comes to Flight Club, think cosy Victorian pub with a fairground twist, including a carousel horse and an impressive and well-stocked bar that greets you as you walk in. It’s unique, over the top and I loved the concept, despite being 5/10 good at darts. I really did try, I promise.
There are 13 dart playing areas- oches- to choose from, kitted out with ground-breaking technology that takes care of the scores and the Boomerang pics, so you don’t have to. Whether you’re a rookie, a regular or a pro, it doesn’t matter, Flight Club’s got you covered. The food on offer is social personified, with sliders, pizzas, fries and sharing plates to chill that competitive vibe in the air. I really enjoyed the food on offer and it was definitely not your usual activity type fare, I’d come back here for the food alone.
Peak times are £30 per hour, whilst off peak times are £15 per hour before 4pm mid week and all day Sunday.
If you do one thing on your next night out, check out Flight Club. It’s totally unique to Brum and I highly rate it. Go check it out for yourself!
*Thanks to Flight Club, I was invited to their launch party.*
